Since Covid

INCREASED DEMAND

Increase demands for last mile companies

INCREASED VOLUME

18% increase in volume

RISING GLOBAL PROJECTIONS

With Global projections continuing to grow at a rate of 18% year after year until 2028

EXCESS PACKAGES

Excess of 5 million packages per day

LABOR SHORTAGE

Labor shortage, chip & vehicle shortage

With that in mind, how can the existing last mile companies deliver the packages needed?

The norm for the last 40+ years has been renting additional cargo vans and box trucks. In the past this has solved the issue for the peak season. Since Covid, these companies are now using rentals on a continuous basis year-round and there’s only so many to fulfill the need.

Our story

After the 20+ years collectively that our founders have been involved in last mile delivery we saw there was something missing. That need initially had to do with all the rental vehicles that were now being used by all the major carriers, i.e. UPS, FedEx, Amazon, Ontrac to deliver our packages.

In this, we saw there was nothing on the market that could be used unless it became a permanent fixture, which means having to drill holes into the van for installation. Therefore the entire rental market could not offer a solution that these carriers have been asking for years without depreciating the value of their fleet due to permanent damage caused by installation.

Until now..

The Bower Co. has now created the first shelving unit that does not need to be permanently installed. It can also handle double the weight than most permanent solutions, including being mobile and easily transferable from one vehicle to the next. All of our products are being manufactured right here in the U.S. Our shelving units are the first of many innovations to come.
